Powertrain
Base power comes from a 3.6-litre Pentastar V-6 eTorque delivering 234 kW (305 hp) and 365 N·m (271 lb-ft). This engine incorporates a 48-volt hybrid system with a 9-kW belt-starter generator contributing 122 N·m (90 lb-ft) of launch torque. A compact 430-watt-hour lithium-ion battery mounts behind the rear seat. Fuel consumption registers at 11.7 L/100 km city, 9.4 L/100 km highway, and 10.7 L/100 km combined for rear-wheel-drive applications.
The 3.0-litre Straight-Six Turbo generates 313 kW (420 hp) and 635 N·m (469 lb-ft), providing the highest standard torque output in the range. This twin-turbocharged inline-six uses direct injection with a high-pressure pump delivering up to 5,075 psi to a single fuel rail. Premium 91-octane fuel is required, with consumption rated at 13.1 L/100 km city and 9.4 L/100 km highway for rear-drive models. The High Output variant produces 403 kW (540 hp) and 707 N·m (521 lb-ft), exclusive to Longhorn, Limited, RHO, and Tungsten trims.
The reintroduced 5.7-litre HEMI V-8 eTorque develops 291 kW (395 hp) and 556 N·m (410 lb-ft). A 12-kW belt-starter generator adds 176 N·m (130 lb-ft) of supplemental torque during acceleration. Variable cam timing and cylinder deactivation help manage fuel use. This V-8 pairs with a 125-litre fuel tank and a tuned exhaust system. Availability extends from Tradesman through Limited trims, with Rebel models receiving the engine later in the model year.
All engines connect to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The TorqueFlite 850RE pairs with the V-6, while the 8HP75 serves the turbocharged six-cylinder and V-8 engines. Axle ratio choices include 3.21, 3.55, and 3.92, with higher numerical ratios improving towing capability while affecting highway fuel economy.
