At the top of Ram's new 2027 Rumble Bee family sits the SRT model, powered by a supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI V8 good for 777 horsepower, officially the strongest V8 Ram has ever installed in a production pickup. Below it sit three more widebody trims, the 6.4-litre HEMI-powered Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack, and the 5.7-litre HEMI-powered Rumble Bee that opens the range, all sharing a Quad Cab short-bed body built on a wheelbase unlike any other Ram 1500. Whichever engine buyers choose, the truck underneath keeps its full-size bed, four working doors and enough towing and payload capacity for genuine job-site or farm use. Exterior

A shortened frame ties the whole Rumble Bee family together: 330 millimetres, or 13 inches, has been removed between the axles, and the structure is 10 percent stiffer against flex as a result. That change is what gives every trim its compact, broad-shouldered look next to a regular Ram 1500. On Rumble Bee and Rumble Bee 392, that look is finished with an aggressive grille, widebody fenders and body-colour bumpers, offered in Detonator Yellow, Molten Red or Ceramic Gray, plus a set of compact mirrors mounted closer to the body than on any previous Ram.

Higher up the range, Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack and Rumble Bee SRT trade some of that clean styling for function: a deep front splitter, grille openings low on the fascia that duct air straight to the brakes and cooling system, and an 80-millimetre rear spoiler shaped for stability at speed. Both ride on 22-by-12-inch wheels wrapped in 325-millimetre rear tires, among the widest tire and wheel setups Ram has ever put into production, and Rumble Bee SRT alone offers a Blacktop paint treatment that darkens the hood and roof in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl-Coat.

Interior

The cabin experience starts the same way in every Rumble Bee: a flat-bottom steering wheel, a console-mounted G/T shifter and aluminum paddle shifters, framed by a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster that greets the driver with a Rumble Bee-branded start-up graphic. From there, materials climb with the trim. Base Rumble Bee sticks with manually operated cloth buckets in Greystone stitching and an 8.4-inch Uconnect display, while Rumble Bee 392 moves to a 10-way power cloth seat, Twill Deco trim and a 12-inch screen.

Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack brings 12-way power leather-and-suede seating, extends Prowler Yellow stitching to the door panels and rear cabin, and adds metal sill plates at each door. Rumble Bee SRT goes further still, with Natura Plus leather and suede, Desert Orange stitching, a suede-covered headliner and Carbon Fibre Deco trim that includes an engraved badge on the glovebox. Regardless of trim, the Quad Cab body means four working doors and real rear-seat room stay part of the package.

Powertrain

Displacement climbs in three steps across the lineup. Rumble Bee starts things off with a 5.7-litre HEMI V8 good for 395 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 410 lb-ft of torque at 3,950 rpm, sent through an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic and full-time active four-wheel drive; a button beside the shifter can disconnect the front axle for rear-wheel-drive-only driving. Every trim in the family, regardless of engine, tows up to 4,032 kg (8,890 lbs) and carries payload up to 526 kg (1,160 lbs).

Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack step up to a 6.4-litre HEMI V8 rated at 470 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 455 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. At the top, Rumble Bee SRT's supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI V8 produces 777 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 680 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm. Both Track Pack and SRT add an electronic spool differential, which splits power evenly between the rear tires for consistent launches.

Screen real estate grows alongside the engine: 8.4 inches on Rumble Bee, 12 inches on Rumble Bee 392 and 392 Track Pack, and 14.5 inches on Rumble Bee SRT, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and full-feature navigation with one-step voice destination entry standard across the board, handy on the long drives between Saskatchewan communities. Sound comes from a 10-speaker Alpine setup on 392-based trims or a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system on SRT, and an available 360-degree camera makes trailer hookups and parking easier.
